Ingredients

1. Cauliflower - 200g
2. Corn Flour - 2 cup
3. Rice Flour - 1/4 cup
4. Salt - 1 tbsp.
5. Red Chilly Powder - 1 tbsp
6. Food Color(Red) - 1/4 tsp
7. Onion - 2
8. Green Chilly - 4
9. Ginger-Garlic Paste - 1 tbsp
10. Tomato Sauce - 3 tbsp
11. Dark Soya Sauce - 1tbsp
12. Corn Flour-Water Slurry - 1 tbsp
13. Oil
14. Water

Procedure

Step 1:
Set the burner on medium flame to boil water. Add cauliflower florets into the boiling water. Cook for 10 to 15 minutes. Strain the cauliflower florets and keep it aside.

Step 2:
Add corn flour, rice flour, salt, red chilly powder, food color (red) into a bowl and mix well. Add little amount of water at a tie to make a thick batter. Add boiled cauliflower florets into the batter and mix well. Place the cauliflower florets onto a plate to separate them. Coat them with corn flour to get a light yet crisp crust.

Step 3:
Add enough oil into a heated pan. Once the oil is heated, add the tossed and coated cauliflower florets into oil. Fry until it turns golden brown. Strain fried cauliflower florets well to remove excess oil.

Step 4:
Add oil into a medium heated pan. Add hopped onions and green chilly to fry. Add ginger-garlic paste, salt and fry for a minute. Add tomato sauce, dark soya sauce, water (2 tbsp.), corn flour-water slurry to the pan and give it a mix. Add fried cauliflower florets to the manchurian sauce and mix well. Serve hot and spicy Gobi Manchurian and enjoy!
