How to Make Chapati in 5 min (SOFT CHAPATI RECIPE)
Layered soft Chapati recipe for all types of Curries. Easy chapati recipe made with just wheat flour. This perhaps one of the essential dish made in most of the Indian households for both lunch and dinner.
Ingredients
1. Wheat Flour - 2 bowls
2. Oil - 2 tbsp
3. Salt - 1 tsp
Procedure
Step 1:
Set burner on medium flame. Add oil to Pan/Kadhai and heat for 1-2min.
Step 2:
Add Wheat flour to big mixing bowl. Add Salt, heated Oil and mix well. Add water and additional cooking oil in between to kneed into a dough. Let dough stay closed for 5-10min.
Step 3:
Use Round Wooden Chapati Maker Board to make small balls of dough. Then flatten (using wooden rolling pin) the dough balls. Use wheat flour to avoid stickiness to wooden board. Add oil and spread it on the flattened dough to get better layered chapati. Fold it and add spread oil again. Use rolling pin to flatten folded dough again to make thin layer.Step 4:
Heat tawa for 5min. Add flattened dough on heated tawa and cook for few seconds. Add oil to get better crispiness and softness. Flip side and add oil again and cook for few seconds. Once you see bubbles appearing, remove the chapati from tawa and serve to a plate.
